Recipes For Headaches & Migraines
Headache Massage

Ingredients:

2 drops Lavender French

2 tbsp Sweet Almond Carrier Oil

Mix all ingredients together. Massage into the temples and the base of the skull
Sinus Headache Bath Salts

Ingredients:

2 slices cucumber

20 drops Peppermint

1 cup dried peppermint, ground to a fine powder

3 cups Bath Salt (unscented)

Have a sinus headache or a head cold? Give this a try! Mix the first three ingredients together. Place in a glass jar. Put 1/2 cup into a bathtub with warm water. Soak in tub with cucumber slices over eyes. Relax. ENJOY!
Migraines Due to Tension

3 drops Neroli

3 drops Chamomile Roman

5 drops Marjoram, Wild

1 tbsp Grape Seed Carrier Oil

Massage the forehead, temples and solar plexus. Breathe in deeply. Pour 15 drops of this aromatic blend into the bathtub and soak for at least 15 minutes.
Migraines Due to Negative Emotions

8 drops Lavender Russia

3 drops Chamomile Roman

1 tbsp Apricot Carrier Oil

Mix all ingredients together. Massage into the temples and the base of the skull.
Headache Away

Ingredients:

5 drops Cardamom

28 green cardamoms, freshly powdered

5 cups boiling hot water

Very soon, your headache will be gone! This is an easy remedy to help drive away headaches! Heat water in a large pot. While the water is heating, put cardamoms in a mixer and powder for a good 2 minutes.
Once the water starts boiling, add freshly powdered cardamoms to it. Add essential oils, and mix. Allow to boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Take a towel and wrap it around your head in such a way that it covers your head completely. Use a big towel. Lower your head into the pot and inhale the steam of this cardamom scented hot water.
Headache Massage Blend

Ingredients:

6 drops Marjoram, Wild

16 drops Lavender Bulgarian

8 drops Peppermint

1 tbsp Sweet Almond Carrier Oil

1 tbsp Grape Seed Carrier Oil

1 tbsp Jojoba Carrier Oil

Mix all the oils together in a small dark amber or blue bottle, shake well to blend. Let set for 4 days to blend well. Massage 1-2 drops into the base of the neck and at the temples, taking care not to get any into the eye. May also add 1-2 teaspoons to warm bath water, agitate the oil blend into the water and soak.
