Aromatic Scent: Citrus aroma yet fruity and sweet with a spicy floral quality, and similar in fragrance to Neroli and Lavender Oils.
Practical Uses: Place a few drops of Bergamot essential oil in an aroma burner, or sniff directly from the bottle to lift the spirit and fight depression. Bergamot oil has a similar effect when blended with massage or bath oils, and can also help to relieve colds, flu, and other respiratory ailments. Mixed with skin creams or lotions, Bergamot essential oil can assist in combating a wide variety of skin conditions.
Description: The Bergamot tree has star-shaped flowers, smooth leaves, can grow up to four meters and bears citrus fruit resembling a cross between an orange and a grapefruit but has a pear-shape.
